This very special ring marks the first of many future pieces designed by local artists of the Southwest; to highlight and honor their vision and tradition in an elevated fabrication of gold. This is part of the founding mission of SUN - a collaborative core that provides exposure and shared profits to native jewelers of the Southwest. I am thrilled to be taking first steps to activate that mission
This ring is designed by New Mexico jeweler Wave Redfish, member of the Sicangu Lakota tribe. Wave is a profoundly talented artist and warm, unique individual. He learned lapidary and the craft of inlay after graduating from the IAIA. He currently works in Santa Fe.
We are so honored that he has trusted us with the opportunity to fabricate his design in solid 14k gold. This is a forget-me-not ring, once-in-a-lifetime sort of ring. It's bright and full of color, luxuriously heavy, handcrafted, and we absolutely couldn't love it more.
It's with a happy and grateful heart that we share 40% of the profits of this ring with Wave Redfish.
*This ring is cast in San Francisco's historic jewelry district and sent to Santa Fe, where stones are cut and set with precision. Solid 14 karat gold with lapis, yellow jasper, caricho lake turquoise, kingman turquoise, mother of pearl, coral, and black jade inlay. Please allow 4-6 weeks while we create your Moon ring
